How does the computer score each task? Which tasks give the most points? Where do students lose easy marks without knowing?

Since then, I have scored 90 twelve times. I still sit the exam every year, so we can test our strategies every time PTE changes. My latest was in 2026.

AHPRA changed its PTE scores on 23 April 2026. Speaking is now the hardest skill to reach.

Two sittings must be within 12 months. The AHPRA scores apply to tests taken from 23 April 2026. Always check the AHPRA website before you book.

Is this course for me?

It is a good fit if you need PTE for PR, a visa, registration or university. It works for first-time test-takers who want to learn how PTE is scored before they sit it, and for anyone who has taken PTE before without reaching their target. It also suits busy people who need to study in less time.

If your English base is weak, the foundation pronunciation and grammar lessons in the Masterclass Bundle help you build it the PTE way. The course is not a good fit if you are a complete beginner in English, or if you want a live teacher for every lesson.

This is my first PTE. How long should I prepare?

If your English is intermediate or above, start with the short lessons, then practise the tasks that give the most points. Then take a scored mock test. If your mock score is at or above your target, you are ready to book. If not, the mock shows you which skill to work on first.

I need to pass soon. Is this enough?

If your English is intermediate or above, yes. The lessons are short, so you can finish them quickly and start practising straight away. If your exam is very close, start with Getting Started, then go straight to your weakest skill.

I'm already studying with another course or teacher. Should I wait?

No need. This course shows you how each task is scored, which makes the practice you are already doing count for more. The lessons take one day, so you can add them without stopping anything else.

I'm not in a hurry. Can I wait?

You can. But waiting has costs: scores expire, visa rounds close, and age points can drop. The course is updated for 2026 scoring.

What if my score does not go up?
